Figures & Faces Exhibition
The Figures and Faces exhibition is fun. The lively cafe venue of MUSA is a great space for this work. The characters will make good talking points!
Annette Murray's lively lino prints can be hung in various ways and one set forms a puzzle.

Lucy Casson, who has characters installed on the roof of Aberdeen's children's hospital, is showing some wonderful wall hangings all made from recycled tin. It is quite incredible how she has managed to get so much feeling into these sculptures.

Paola McClure has some large soft sculptures. These are installed on top of the vestibule at MUSA. We are also showing some of her smaller figures all made from recycled fabric. Paola lives and works in Dundee.

Ceramic figurative work from Morag Sutherland is not only a work of art but also a labour of love -creative genius.

Work from three very different painters is being shown at the exhibition. Realistic, contemporary life size figures by Stuart Allan. Large lively figurative paintings by Debby Forsyth which suit MUSA very well and sensitive oil paintings from Stefka O'Docherty.

Alexandra Fiddes produces beautiful delicate jewellery based on figures and people

Also showing is a fun 'people watching' video from Evan Thomas who graduated last summer from Edinburgh College of Art.
